Bong & Pearl Radio Campaign to Boost WME Anniversary Attendance

The campaign on informing WWME couples of the upcoming Anniversary celebration received a boost here last July 1st when four couples of the community led by BongPearl went regional on-air over the AM band with the news. Iloilo weekend is set for July 20-22, 2001 while Antique is set for a July 27-29, 2001.  July 28-29 is the Archdiocese's "Jubillee of the LOMAS' celebration (this is the 50th of the Jaro Archdiocese) and the Iloilo community has been homored with an invitation "to belong" from our beloved Archbishop.

Hello there dear Lovers. Are you already aware that our WWME-Philippines Silver Anniversary is forthcoming?
Yes! our beloved apostolate will be 25 years touching the lives of countless couples and thier families.
It is going to be a momentous event next year, November 16-19, 2001.

Join the bandwagon and don't be left out.  It will be a once in a lifetime event.

Alot of prepartion is going on right now, and the organizers wants you to join in. In the coming months
couples from the organizing commitee will come and visit you, to drum up awareness from all of you couples who believe in the sacrament of matrimony and priesthood.

Iloilo has successfully held a deeper weekend last May 5-7, 2000. Six couples from Iloilo, one from Antique, two from Bacolod and a priest ( Fr. Pinongcos) took the deeper weekend. Edgar & Sonia Serosa, coordinator from Bacolod, attended the deeper weekend.

The Iloilo and Antique communities were so euphoric and inspired that they are looking forward to filling up the next weekend, May 12-14, 2000, with more couples. They promise to reach out to more couples in their areas.

The May 12 - 14, weekend had 8 couples.  The entire WWME community wishes to give all these 8 couples a warm welcome and looks forward to journeying with them.

Congratulations to Ilo-ilo for having many couples involved in the weekend activities.  Antique is also fired up with one couple attending the deeper;  Bob and Elsie gave the weekend this time.

CHOICE WEEKEND IN ILOILO

Iloilo will be having a CHOICE weekend from May 26- 28, 2000.  This is the WME expression of the weekend for the single-adults.  All single adults, 18 years old and above are welcome to attend this weekend experience.  Please contact the Coordinator for Ilo-ilo, or call (033) 336-7716;  (033) 336-8796 for more info.
