An Article Of Enrichment During South Zone's Monthly Meeting

Your Honorable WME Couples,
We would like to inform the floor that the Manila South Zone resumed it's monthly Enrichment proceedings last January 13, 2001 at the sala of Dado & Cory Hipolito.
Couple judges from Manila South came to witness the testimony of Bobby and Alma and were asked to actively participate in the proceedings through a process which left no shadow of doubt that indeed we should all re-commit ourselves for a better Movement come this new century.
The Zone also approved a motion on the floor to actively participate in the 25th Silver Anniversary in Cebu via all means possible. A motion was also raised on the floor that all enrichments and gatherings of the Zone henceforth shall exclude the bringing of food to share and instead a process called pass the hat shall be observed. Money from such gatherings will be routed to the Zone's funds for use in the 25th Silver Anniversary and other matters concerning the proper functioning of the Zone in the years to come. It was a unanimous decision and the motion was approved without further delay.
An ammendment to serve lugaw each
time the Zone gathers was also approved but several couple judges strongly
suggested that spaghetti should also be serve from time to time.
Dado & Cory will also prepare the first draft of a form letter
that will be sent to sponsors asking for donations for the 25th Anniversary.
This form letter will be distributed to the couples in the earliest possible
time and must be complied with without further delay. The formal meeting
ended almost near midnight when a motion for recess was raised. The next
session will promptly convene as soon as the need to do so arises.
We adjourned at the tick of the clock at exactly 12:00 midnight.

EDSA 2 REVOLUTION WEEKEND
January 19-20, 2001 Inspite of the EDSA 2 Revolution that has been going on this weekend, South Zone had a very successful weekend. Oying - Ruth writes, "Our weekend was a successful one inspite of the worries about what is happening at EDSA. It will be a memorable weekend for us all including the 7 couples who joined. Some couples didn't make it because of the happennings at the People Power 2." Mabuhay sa 7 nating bagong encountered couples.
